Westport Funding, LLC is a full service high technology and business equipment leasing and finance company headquartered in Warren, Vermont. Our primary strength is our ability to structure custom lease transactions that fit our customers’ financial and technological requirements rather than try to shoehorn those requirements into a predefined program. As a vendor independent lessor, we are able to lease equipment supplied by most vendors and manufacturers. We focus on high technology assets, with a specialty focus on medical equipment, IT and computer equipment, commercial and industrial equipment, and renewable energy projects where we can provide construction phase / progress payment financing as well as permanent financing.

Gary J. Plewak – Senior Consultant

Gary Plewak has over 25 years in sales and sales management in the technology leasing business. He founded a technology leasing company in 1990, ran it for 14 years and sold the portfolio in 2004. Prior experiences include a computer services company (division of Boeing), IBM and venture technology companies.

Benjamin T. Plewak – Senior Consultant

Ben Plewak is a Director and Account Manager, spearheading the Renewable and New Energy Division of Westport Funding. Ben has gained a deep knowledge of the often complex funding sources that are involved in renewable energy and Green Projects. He can help you with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Grant Programs and USDA Lease Guarantees that are often associated with new energy projects.

Brian Rimol – Senior Consultant

Brian was introduced to the leasing industry by Captive Conduit in 2009, following five years in business development, multinational Fortune 2000 company, prior to the creation and launch of Captive Lease Consulting Group, a division of Vendor Financial Marketing, LLC.
Brian has extensive experience in the development and management of national equipment manufacturer financing programs. The programs include creating financial partnerships in agriculture, waste management, scientific test & measurement, and technology industries for mid-size companies, right up to the Fortune 2000.
Among his strengths are: national and regional vendor territory development, sales training, and customer penetration. Our company prides itself in assembling simple to complex transaction structuring for commercial and tax-exempt financings.

Andrew Rimol – Senior Consultant

Andrew has been in the leasing industry since 1981 as a Senior Account Officer for CITICORP Industrial Credit, aka Citicorp N.A. He has served as Vice President for three banks: Beneficial Commercial Corporation, PHH Fleet America Corporation, and City National Capital Finance.
Andrew has an extensive knowledge of Banking Policy, and a strong reputation of maintaining the highest standards for credit and bank compliance. This was recognized by Interchanged Capital Company, where he was chosen as president of the subsidiary leasing division, a publicly held company.
Andy has joined Captive Lease Consulting Group in an effort to catapult the company by improving the infrastructure with improved Processes & Procedures, and its banking relationships.
